Michael Dickinson was born in Marietta, Ohio
in 1954. He studied art at Marietta College. For 11 years he
was employed as a glass painter and designer for The Fenton
Art Glass Company in Williamstown, West Virginia. Works
other than his Limited Edition Lithographs include murals in
private residences and he restored the artwork on the grand
piano in the Ohio State Capital. His Columbus Union Station
lithograph series was the result of five years of research
and several months of dedicated artistry. Additional works
include the city map of Marietta, posters for Marietta
College, and various lithographs of Marietta and Columbus
Ohio. His original oil painting “Evening Reflections” (The
Marietta Train Station in 1915) was chosen by the Ohio Arts
Council to hang in the Ohio Governor’s Mansion where it was
displayed for two years. Michael enjoys painting historic
scenes in watercolor acrylic and oil. He is currently
traveling throughout the United States, researching for
additional paintings and lithographs of American cities and
National Parks.
His paintings and lithographs are available
at gift shops and framing stores in Columbus, Ohio and
